Areas We Serve in Accra, Ghana

One clinic, at 6 Wuogon Road in Cantonments — and clients who travel to it from East Legon, Airport Residential, Labone, Osu, Ridge, Dzorwulu, Spintex, Tema and beyond.

Body Language by Mandz does not have branches. Every consultation and every treatment is carried out personally by Amanda Fourie, and that is only possible in one place. We chose Cantonments deliberately: it sits at the centre of the neighbourhoods our clients live and work in, ten minutes from the airport, on quiet residential streets where you can arrive and leave discreetly.

This page exists because “how do I get there and how long will it take?” is the first practical question most new clients ask. Below you will find honest travel times from each part of Greater Accra we most often welcome clients from, the route that works best, and the treatments people from each area tend to come for. Journey times are for outside rush hour; Accra traffic between 07:00–09:30 and 16:30–19:30 can double them.

Getting to the clinic from across Accra

Cantonments

DistanceHome base Travel timeWalkable from most of Cantonments; 2–5 minutes by car

The route

The clinic is at 6 Wuogon Road, in the quiet residential grid on the Labone side of Cantonments — a short drive south-east of the 37 Military Hospital junction and a few minutes from the embassy district.

What clients from Cantonments come to us for

Cantonments is the clinic’s home, so this is where our longest-standing clients live: diplomatic families, executives and residents who want a practitioner they can see regularly rather than a one-off appointment. Maintenance treatments that reward consistency — Botox top-ups, skin boosters, facials on a skin programme — fit naturally into a neighbourhood routine.

East Legon

DistanceAbout 6 km Travel time20–30 minutes

The route

Head south towards the airport and continue down Liberation Road through Airport Residential into Cantonments. Ride-hailing from East Legon is straightforward at any time of day; if you prefer to avoid the Tetteh Quarshie side at peak hours, the Giffard Road approach from the Burma Camp side is a useful alternative.

What clients from East Legon come to us for

East Legon has its own busy aesthetic market, and much of it competes on price and promotion. Clients who make the drive to us tend to be looking for the opposite: one practitioner with 30 years behind her, authentic products, and injectables and laser protocols calibrated for melanin-rich skin. Anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, nano brows and CO2 laser resurfacing are the treatments East Legon clients most often travel for.

Airport Residential Area

DistanceAbout 2.5 km Travel time5–10 minutes

The route

Airport Residential sits directly north of Cantonments. From the Airport City hotels and offices it is a single straight run south on Liberation Road, then a couple of turns into the Cantonments residential streets.

What clients from Airport Residential Area come to us for

Being ten minutes from Kotoka International Airport makes us a practical choice for business travellers and for the many Airport Residential households who want a discreet clinic close to home. Same-week consultations and lunchtime-length treatments — skin boosters, a signature facial, IV vitamin therapy — are popular here.

Labone

DistanceUnder 2 km Travel time5–8 minutes

The route

Labone and Cantonments share a boundary, so the clinic is effectively next door. Most Labone addresses reach Wuogon Road in a handful of turns without touching a main road.

What clients from Labone come to us for

Labone clients are often young professionals and creatives who want refinement rather than transformation: brow work, lip enhancement, chemical peels for tone and texture, and structured skin programmes. The proximity makes the six-to-eight-week permanent make-up perfecting session and course-based treatments easy to keep.

Osu

DistanceAbout 3 km Travel time10–15 minutes

The route

From Oxford Street or Danquah Circle, head north on Ring Road East and turn into Cantonments; from the Osu beachfront side, Labone Road brings you up through Labone into the same streets.

What clients from Osu come to us for

Osu is the social heart of Accra, and many of our clients live, work or run businesses there. They come for treatments with visible pay-off — lip fillers, nano brows, HydraFacial-style deep cleanses before an event, and anti-wrinkle treatments — and for honest advice on repairing skin damaged by over-the-counter bleaching products, which we see often.

Ridge and Roman Ridge

DistanceAbout 3–4 km Travel time10–15 minutes

The route

Both neighbourhoods reach us via the 37 Military Hospital junction: from Ridge take Ring Road East north-east and continue past 37 into Cantonments; from Roman Ridge it is a short hop east along the Liberation Road corridor.

What clients from Ridge and Roman Ridge come to us for

Ridge and Roman Ridge are home to many of Accra’s senior professionals, medical staff and long-established families. Our clients from here value a clinical, unhurried approach and often start with a full skin assessment and a corrective programme rather than a single treatment. Men’s aesthetics — Botox, skin resurfacing, fat dissolving — has a particularly loyal following from this side of town.

Dzorwulu

DistanceAbout 4–5 km Travel time15–20 minutes

The route

Follow the Achimota–Airport corridor to Liberation Road, then south past 37 Military Hospital and into Cantonments. Off-peak it is one of the easiest cross-town runs in Accra.

What clients from Dzorwulu come to us for

Dzorwulu and the Fiesta Royale and Abelemkpe pockets around it send us a steady stream of clients for skin rejuvenation — Dermapen micro-needling, chemical peels and pigmentation work — as well as body contouring and stretch-mark revision.

Spintex

DistanceAbout 8–10 km Travel time30–40 minutes

The route

From Spintex Road, come in via Giffard Road on the Burma Camp side, which lands you in Cantonments without going near the Tetteh Quarshie interchange. Alternatively join Liberation Road at the airport and head south. Traffic on Spintex is heaviest between 07:00–09:30 and 16:30–19:30, so a late-morning or early-afternoon appointment is the comfortable choice.

What clients from Spintex come to us for

Spintex families often plan treatment around the school run or a Saturday visit into town. Course-based work — a series of chemical peels, micro-needling for acne scarring, skin tightening — is scheduled to keep the number of trips sensible, and permanent make-up is popular because it removes a daily task altogether.

Tema

DistanceAbout 25 km Travel time45–60 minutes via the Accra–Tema Motorway

The route

Take the Accra–Tema Motorway to the Tetteh Quarshie interchange, then Liberation Road south past the airport and into Cantonments. Aim to leave Tema before 07:00 or after 09:30 to miss the motorway peak; the return journey is smoothest before 16:00.

What clients from Tema come to us for

Tema clients make the longest journey to see us, and they make it because the treatment they want — CO2 laser resurfacing, dermal fillers, keloid and scar work, permanent make-up — is worth doing once and doing properly. We group consultations and treatment where it is clinically appropriate so a Tema visit is never wasted, and we confirm aftercare by WhatsApp so follow-ups rarely need a second drive.

Visiting Accra

Coming from outside Ghana, or home for a short stay

A meaningful share of our clients are Ghanaians living abroad who plan treatment around a trip home, and visitors who would rather see a practitioner with three decades of experience than take a chance somewhere unfamiliar. We are used to working around flight dates. A few things worth knowing before you book:

  • Anti-wrinkle treatments begin working within days and settle fully by about day fourteen. Book early in your stay so any refinement can be done before you leave.
  • Dermal fillers and skin boosters show their result immediately, with mild swelling for a few days; they suit a two-week trip well.
  • CO2 laser resurfacing needs five to seven days of visible downtime and strict sun care afterwards, so allow at least ten days in Accra.
  • Permanent make-up includes a perfecting session six to eight weeks after the first appointment. If you cannot return, tell us — we will plan the first session accordingly.
  • Courses (peels, micro-needling, skin tightening) can be started here and continued on your next visit; you leave with a written plan.

Tell us your dates when you book through the booking page or on WhatsApp, and we will say plainly what fits and what does not. The full price list is published so you can plan before you travel.

Common questions

Location questions, answered

Do you have a branch in East Legon, Osu or Tema?

No — Body Language by Mandz is one clinic, at 6 Wuogon Road in Cantonments. Every treatment is performed personally by Amanda Fourie, which is only possible in one place. Clients travel to us from across Greater Accra, and the directions on this page are written for exactly that.

How far is the clinic from Kotoka International Airport?

Roughly three kilometres, or five to ten minutes by car outside rush hour. Cantonments is the neighbourhood immediately south of Airport Residential, which makes the clinic convenient for visitors staying in Airport City hotels and for anyone flying in specifically for treatment.

Do you offer home visits or mobile treatments?

No. Injectables, laser, peels and needling need clinical hygiene, proper lighting and the right equipment, and none of that travels well. All treatments — including consultations — take place at the clinic.

Is there parking at the clinic?

Yes. Wuogon Road is a quiet residential street and there is space to park at the clinic. If you arrive by Uber, Bolt or Yango, the address is recognised by all three apps.

I am visiting Accra for a short time. Can I fit treatment into my trip?

Usually, yes — but tell us your travel dates when you book. Anti-wrinkle treatments take about fourteen days to settle fully, CO2 laser resurfacing needs five to seven days of downtime, and new permanent make-up includes a perfecting session six to eight weeks later. We will tell you honestly what is realistic in the time you have, and what is better started on a longer stay.

Which areas do you serve?

Cantonments, East Legon, Airport Residential, Labone, Osu, Ridge, Roman Ridge, Dzorwulu, Spintex and Tema are where most of our clients come from, but the clinic welcomes anyone from anywhere in Ghana or abroad. If your area is not listed, message us on WhatsApp and we will send directions.
