Derma-Planing — Advanced Skin Exfoliation in Accra

An advanced exfoliation treatment that gently removes dead skin cells and fine facial hair to reveal a smoother, brighter, and more refined complexion.

Derma-planing sweeps away the outermost layer of dead cells and fine vellus hair (“peach fuzz”) with a sterile surgical blade — instantly smoother, brighter skin and flawless make-up application.

Who is it for?

Anyone wanting immediate radiance with zero downtime — it is the classic pre-event treatment. Also ideal for skin that struggles to absorb skincare, and safe in pregnancy when many actives are off the table.

What happens at your appointment?

After a double cleanse, the blade glides across the skin at a precise angle — painless, oddly relaxing, and finished within 30–40 minutes with soothing actives and SPF. Make-up sits perfectly from the next morning.

Does the hair grow back thicker?

No — vellus hair regrows exactly as it was. Combine with a light chemical peel for compounding glow, or make it a monthly ritual alongside your signature facial.

Derma-Planing — Advanced Skin Exfoliation — frequently asked questions

What is dermaplaning, and what does it do?

Dermaplaning is a precise exfoliation that gently removes dead surface skin and fine “peach fuzz” facial hair, instantly revealing smoother, brighter skin and a flawless canvas for make-up and skincare.

Will the facial hair grow back thicker or darker?

No — this is a myth. Dermaplaning removes fine vellus hair at the surface; it grows back exactly as it was, with the same soft texture and colour.

How much does dermaplaning cost?

Dermaplaning is priced GHS 600 – GHS 800 — the treatment on its own, or combined with a chemical peel for deeper renewal. Your therapist will advise which suits your skin.

Is there any downtime?

None — you leave glowing. Skin can be slightly more sensitive to sun for a day or two, so daily SPF is recommended (as always).

How often should I have it?

Every 3–4 weeks works well, aligning with your skin’s renewal cycle and keeping it consistently smooth and radiant.

Is dermaplaning safe for dark skin?

Yes — it is purely mechanical exfoliation with no heat or chemicals, making it one of the safest, gentlest brightening treatments for all skin tones.
