Fat Dissolving Injections in Accra

Injectable lipolysis that permanently reduces localised fat deposits, area by area.

Injectable lipolysis permanently dissolves localised fat pockets — under the chin, along the jowls, or body areas like the tummy and arms — clearing what diet and exercise cannot reach.

Who is it for?

Clients near their comfortable weight with specific stubborn pockets. It is contouring, not weight loss — and we will say so honestly if a different approach would serve you better.

What happens at your appointment?

The area is mapped and a grid of micro-injections placed — about 20–30 minutes. Swelling for several days is expected and is the treatment working; your body clears the released fat over 4–6 weeks.

How many sessions?

Typically 2–4 per area, six weeks apart. Destroyed fat cells do not return. Facial-only concerns are covered under facial fat dissolving.

Fat Dissolving Injections — frequently asked questions

How does fat dissolving work?

An injectable solution permanently breaks down localised fat cells in stubborn pockets — under the chin, jowls, tummy, flanks or arms — which your body then clears naturally over the following weeks.

How much does it cost?

Fat dissolving is priced GHS 1,500 – GHS 2,000 per area — the under-chin and body areas are quoted individually. Your consultation confirms how many areas and sessions you need.

How many sessions will I need?

Typically 2–4 sessions per area, spaced about six weeks apart, depending on the amount of fat. Results build progressively with each session.

Is it a weight-loss treatment?

No — it is contouring for specific stubborn pockets that resist diet and exercise, not a method for overall weight loss. It works best on a stable weight.

Is it permanent?

Yes — the treated fat cells are gone for good once cleared, though maintaining your weight keeps the result looking its best.

What is the downtime?

Expect swelling, tenderness and sometimes firmness or bruising in the area for several days — this is a normal sign the treatment is working.

Is fat dissolving safe, and what are the side effects?

Marked swelling, tenderness and firmness in the treated area for several days is expected — that is the fat breaking down. Bruising and small nodules under the skin are common and settle. Treatment is spaced roughly six weeks apart precisely so the body clears each round safely. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over active infection, or with significant liver or kidney disease, and it is not appropriate as a weight-loss method. There is no pigmentation risk on darker skin, as the solution works below the skin surface.
