PMU Touch-Ups in Accra

Includes the 6–8 week perfecting session and annual colour refresh.

Permanent make-up is low-maintenance, not no-maintenance. Touch-up sessions perfect fresh work at 6–8 weeks and refresh established work annually — keeping brows, liner and lips at their crispest.

Who is it for?

Every PMU client. The 6–8 week perfecting session is part of the original treatment journey; annual colour refreshes protect your investment as pigment naturally softens.

What happens at your appointment?

A shorter session than the original — assessment, then targeted pigment where healing lightened or time faded. Healing is quicker than first application.

Work done elsewhere?

We refresh outside work when its foundation is sound — and advise corrective options honestly when it is not.

About Amanda

PMU Touch-Ups — frequently asked questions

What is a PMU touch-up?

It refreshes existing permanent make-up — brows, eyeliner or lips — restoring colour and crispness as pigment naturally softens over time. It also covers the 6–8 week perfecting session that completes new work.

Do I need the 6–8 week perfecting session?

For any new permanent make-up, yes — it is an essential part of the process, refining shape and colour once the skin has healed. It is included in the price of your original treatment.

How much do touch-ups cost?

Touch-ups are priced GHS 800 – GHS 1,000 depending on the feature — brows, liner or lips. An annual refresh is the usual rhythm to keep results looking fresh.

How often should I have a touch-up?

Roughly once a year keeps colour and definition at their best, though this varies with your skin, lifestyle and sun exposure.

Can you touch up permanent make-up done elsewhere?

Sometimes — it depends on the colour, shape and saturation of the existing work. We will assess it first and tell you honestly whether a touch-up or a correction is the right route.

Is it safe to keep having touch-ups?

Yes, at a sensible interval — which is exactly why we assess rather than automatically re-tattoo. Working over the same skin too frequently can oversaturate the area, blur crisp strokes and build up pigment that becomes harder to correct later. Roughly annual refreshing suits most clients. Each session carries the same modest risks as the original work: temporary swelling, flaking, and infection if aftercare is neglected. We will tell you honestly if your existing work needs correction rather than a straightforward top-up.
