Lamelle Skincare in Ghana: A Guide to Every Range

What each Lamelle range is for, how to choose by skin concern, and how ordering Lamelle by enquiry works at our clinic in Cantonments, Accra.

Perhaps a friend in Johannesburg swears by it, or a therapist mentioned it after your last facial. Either way, you have heard the name Lamelle, and now you have two practical questions: which of its many products do you actually need, and where can you buy Lamelle in Ghana with proper advice on whether it suits your skin?

This guide answers both. It walks through every Lamelle range in plain language, explains what each one is designed for and how to narrow the choice down by concern, and then sets out how ordering works at our clinic in Cantonments, Accra.

One thing first: nobody needs the whole line. Most good routines use three or four products.

What Lamelle is, in plain terms

Lamelle is a South African skincare company that develops science-led cosmeceuticals: products that sit between everyday cosmetics and medicines, with active ingredients chosen to do a specific job. Its formulas draw on vitamin A, vitamin C, peptides, growth factors and its own patented lipid technology, Ceramide-P, which appears across several ranges to support the skin barrier.

The line is organised by concern: pigmentation, acne, sun protection, barrier repair and ageing at different stages. Some products come in graduated strengths, so skin can be stepped up gradually rather than shocked.

Why Lamelle is supplied through clinics

Lamelle is designed to be recommended by trained skin professionals rather than picked off a shelf. Strong actives work best when someone has looked at your skin, asked what you already use and considered any treatments you are having. A retinoid that suits one person can leave another red and flaky for weeks.

At Body Language by Mandz we stock the full Lamelle range and sell it by enquiry. You message us on WhatsApp, request a callback or ask in clinic, and the product comes with a conversation rather than a sales script. Amanda Fourie, who has worked in skincare since 1989 and holds the CIDESCO International Diploma, oversees every recommendation. You can browse everything on our Lamelle skincare hub before you get in touch.

Correctives: targeted actives you step up over time

Lamelle Correctives is the toolkit range, with around twenty products aimed at specific concerns. It holds the vitamin A line (RA Cream, RA Advance Cream, and the RA 3.0 and RA 5.0 Serums), three vitamin C serums (Recharge CE, Vita C 30 and the gentler Vita-C Lipid Serum), glycolic exfoliants in AHA 5% and AHA 8%, and the enzyme exfoliants Cathepzyme 1 and Cathepzyme 2. Alongside these sit brighteners, the HA+ hydration serum, growth factor products and recovery care such as Barrier Repair Cream and Restorative Balm.

Correctives suits people who want visible change in lines, texture, dullness or pigmentation and are happy to build up gradually.

Luminesce: dark spots and uneven tone

The Luminesce range is Lamelle's pigmentation line, designed to fade dark spots and even out tone without irritating the skin. A routine usually runs from Brightening Cleanse in the morning, to Brighter Day layered under the matte Brightening Defence SPF 30, to Evening Glow at night for stubborn pigmentation such as melasma and hormonal marks. Luminesce Rich is the nourishing option for drier skin, and Radiant Eye targets dark circles.

That emphasis on gentleness matters. Irritation can itself trigger more pigment, so harsh brightening products often make marks worse rather than better.

Clarity: acne-prone skin on the face and body

Lamelle Clarity treats breakouts as what they usually are: several problems at once. Oil, inflammation, bacteria, blocked pores and the dark marks spots leave behind each have a product. Clarity Active Cleanse, a soap-free wash with salicylic acid, starts the routine. Clarity Clear Serum is the main treatment step, and Clarity Active Control is kept for individual blemishes. Corrective AM and PM Plus handle day and night, and the Body Spray reaches the chest, back and shoulders, useful in a climate where heat and sweat keep body breakouts going. Amanda will often start with fewer products than you expect.

Helase: sun protection that also helps repair

Lamelle Helase is the sun-protection range, and for anyone living under Accra's strong, year-round sun it is arguably the most important one. Helase 50 is the most comprehensive, a full-spectrum SPF 50 with photolyase enzymes, an AhR blocker and Pycnogenol. Urban Defence is a broad-spectrum daily sunscreen designed to defend skin against sun and city pollution. Photo-Repair Tint 50+ adds colour, evening out tone while it protects. Rescue Repair Gel is not a sunscreen at all, but a cooling antioxidant gel for skin that has had too much sun or a light-based treatment.

Whatever else you choose, expect it to be paired with daily sun protection.

Serra: dry, sensitive and compromised skin

The Serra range is for skin whose barrier needs rebuilding: dry, tight, stinging, reactive, or recovering from over-exfoliation and harsh products. Everything is built on Ceramide-P. Serra Cleansing Gel is the gentle starting point. Restore Cream is a lightweight daily repair moisturiser, Soothing Cream is richer, for severe dryness, itching and inflammation, and NSB Cream is aimed at the burning and stinging of Sensitive Skin Syndrome. The Lipid Recovery Mask and Soothing Body Lotion extend the same care.

Serra is often the right first step, because calm skin tolerates active ingredients far better.

Dermaheal, Nourish, RFM and Skin Essence

Four further ranges cover ageing and everyday resilience at different levels.

Dermaheal

Lamelle Dermaheal is the growth factor range. It combines growth factors, cytokines and MMP inhibitors to support renewal and protect collagen, with a foaming cleanser, Renewal Cream for dry or sensitive ageing skin, Cellular Repair Cream for tired, maturing skin, Ultra Renewal Cream as its most concentrated night treatment, and dedicated eye and neck products.

Nourish

Lamelle Nourish is the everyday anti-ageing range for early lines and dullness, focused on protecting skin from environmental and DNA damage. Daily Cleanse, Revitalise Cream or the lighter Revitalise Lite for combination to oily skin, an eye cream and Multi-Active Sun 30 make a simple, complete routine.

RFM

The RFM range draws on stem cell biotechnology. RFM Serum combines stem cell extracts, peptides and gentle vitamin C, and the velvety RFM Elixir Cream is the richer partner for more mature skin.

Skin Essence

Lamelle Skin Essence is a trio of light probiotic essences used after cleansing: Rejuvenate to calm and hydrate, Corrector for elasticity and barrier strength, and Clear for problem-prone skin.

Professional peels: performed only in clinic

Professional peels are not for home use at all, and they are not sold over the counter. They are performed only in clinic by Amanda, as part of our medical chemical peel service, and she chooses the right peel for you after a consultation and a proper look at your skin. She specialises in treating all skin tones safely, which with peels means careful choice of strength and preparation to avoid unwanted pigment change.

Mention any Lamelle you already use when you book.

How to choose by concern

If you are not sure where to start, these pairings narrow it down. For dark spots or uneven tone, Luminesce with a daily Helase sunscreen. For breakouts, Clarity, introduced a step at a time. For lines, texture or loss of firmness, the Correctives vitamin A and vitamin C serums, or Dermaheal and RFM if your skin prefers gentler formulas.

For dry, stinging or reactive skin, start with Serra. For early prevention, Nourish plus sunscreen every morning. Around a treatment, Amanda will choose from Correctives, Serra and Helase to suit your procedure.

When a Lamelle product is not the right first step

Good skincare can do a great deal, but it is not always the answer, and it is better to hear that before you spend money.

If you have a rash, a sudden change in your skin, a mole that is growing, bleeding or changing shape, or acne that is painful, deep and scarring, see a doctor first. Skincare can support medical treatment but should not replace it. If you are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding, some actives, particularly vitamin A, are usually avoided, so check with your doctor and tell us before you order. The same applies if you take prescription medicines for your skin or for a medical condition.

And if you are hoping a cream will lift sagging skin or remove deep scarring, it will not. Those concerns usually need an in-clinic treatment, with products playing a supporting role.

How ordering works, and what to expect afterwards

Ordering is straightforward. Send a WhatsApp message, request a callback or call into the clinic at 6 Wuogon Road, Cantonments, open Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00. Tell us what concerns you, what you use now and whether you are having or planning any treatments. If you already know the product you want, we will check it suits you and arrange it. If your skin needs a closer look, Amanda may suggest seeing it in person first.

Once you start, give a new routine time. In the first two weeks the goal is comfort: skin adjusting without stinging or flaking. Around four to six weeks in, hydration and texture often feel different. Pigmentation is slower, and many people need two to three months of consistent use and sun protection before marks look lighter. Amanda will advise how to use each product and when to step up or pause. Clients coming from across Accra often collect at their next appointment to save a trip through the traffic.

Lamelle questions

Can I buy Lamelle in Ghana?

Yes. We stock the full range at our clinic in Cantonments and sell it by enquiry, so each product comes with advice on how to use it.

Do I need a consultation before ordering?

Not always. If you already use a product happily, a short message is often enough. For stronger actives, or if your skin is reactive, Amanda may want to see your skin first.

Is Lamelle suitable for sensitive skin?

Several products are designed with sensitive skin in mind, notably the Serra range, and gentler options exist within Correctives, such as the Vita-C Lipid Serum and Cathepzyme 1. The right choice depends on why your skin is sensitive.

How do I start?

Get in touch through our contact page with a short note about your skin and what you would like to change. We will take it from there, at your pace.
